Pastor Yohannankutty Daniel (Y. Daniel) first entered into full-time ministry as the pastor of a church in Kerala, India at the age of 19. He continued in the work of pastoring and evangelism in India for about 10 years before moving to the United States in 1989. After many years of working a secular job in the U.S., he came to realize more fully the purpose and plan that God had intended for his life. In 2003, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, he began missionary work in Telangana (formerly called “Andhra Pradesh”), India with the aim of reaching residents who have never heard about Jesus and/or do not have the continuous, consistent presence of a Christian church in their community.
Today, Pastor Y. Daniel, with great zeal, works full-time in the mission field, working to support and motivate local missionaries and newly formed churches; and ministering in evangelistic meetings, pastors’ conferences and seminars throughout the year.
Recognizing the great opportunity for gospel work, he - along with GTIM missionaries – finds fulfillment in continuing with diligence to proclaim and advance the good news of Jesus Christ. And by God’s provision, GTIM missionaries have been able to expand their activities and influence to the state of Maharashtra also. It is hoped that by following God’s blueprints for this ministry, many will be impacted and inspired to live their lives for the sake of His Kingdom and Glory.
